Beginners Leathercraft Lesson - 1st February 2025

We'll be running beginner leathercraft workshops on Saturday 1st February 2025 at the beautiful South Leigh Village Hall - Nestled in the heart of west Oxfordshire Near Witney

There is a choice of two courses;

Morning Workshop 9:00 - 12:00

Hand Stitched Card Wallet
Learn how to transfer patterns to leather, stitching and how to use stitching irons to create perfectly even stitches. Plus saddle stitching how to take your burnishing to another level for a super shiny finish.

Afternoon Workshop 14:00 - 17:00

Leather Stamped Coaster Set
Make up to four coasters in this introductory course to leather decoration - learn about preparing leather for stamping and carving, techniques for getting a solid and defined stamp, carving and bevelling details, finishing your leather and polishing the edges. 

You will also learn:
Understanding which leather to use for a project
Leather tools explained

10 students per course with 2 instructors

You are welcome to book either morning or afternoon or both. Please be aware there is a 2hr break between the morning and afternoon workshops.

Our lead instructor Aimee is a qualified teacher, a senior first aider and very understanding of anyone who may struggle attending because of a disability or who is ND so you will be in a safe and friendly environment If we can do anything to make attending the course easier then please contact us at info@sfleather.co.uk

Supporting Aimee is Pete - A great teacher for students wanting to learn more about dyeing and stamping, using computers for pattern design and setting up equipment such as laser engravers and 3d printers and how to use them.

A full refund will be given if your place is cancelled within the 7 day cooling off period of the initial purchase or more than 90 days before the course date.

If the cooling off period falls within the 30 days leading up to the course you will only receive a 50% refund.

No refunds will be given for cancellations within 30 days of the course date if it is not within the 7 days cooling off period.
