A Fragment of Fashion History, Preserved.

This is not merely leather. This is a perfectly preserved slice of antique elegance, a rare piece of sartorial history that has never been used. Dating from 1900-1910, this glazed lambskin arrived in our hands still wrapped in its original (now lost) London importer’s paper—a true, untouched deadstock treasure.

In an era dominated by deep burgundies, browns, and blacks, these delicate pastel shades—blush pink, powder blue, butter yellow, mint, and tan—were the height of luxury. They were reserved for the most exclusive accessories: evening bags, bespoke gloves, and delicate detailing on haute couture. Finding them today, over a century later, is virtually unheard of.

Time has bestowed upon this leather a unique character. The surface is dry and delicate to the touch. This is its authentic, antique state, which adds to its undeniable charm and provenance. It is stable, complete, and ready to be transformed into a modern heirloom, but it asks for a gentle hand and an understanding heart.

Please Note: This leather is sold as a collector's item and historical material. Due to its age and delicate glazing, it is best suited to low-wear applications and makers experienced with antique materials. We strongly recommend testing finishes and techniques on a small section first.
