This modern take on the traditional flat awl has a large grip surface that is shaped to fit into your hand. The blade is made from one continuous metal piece and runs into the handle.

Dimensions: 2mm wide, 1mm thick, ~14mm long (before tapering out wider)
Blade shape is flat with a bulge in the centre to create the diamond shape but without the sharp corners along the shorter diameter.
Material: SKD11 special steel / ebony, rosewood.
